Using an elastic cord band threaded through the base of the hat allows you to change sizes-
it can be tightened to fit a smaller head or removed for full stretch of the hat. Plenty of room for tucking hair up into the hat !
Each of my hats is made -keeping in mind that the inside of the hat remains soft and wearable for medically fragile people,
I hand sew braids and decorations onto my hats, and if glue or hard items are used, they remain on the outside of the hats.
