This is a rare vintage original NOS GM tool kit from the General Motors Parts Division.
GM part # 986363 and sold at dealerships from 1948-1954. Early 1955 Chevy cars and trucks were also known to come with this kit from the dealer.
That's exactly where this one came from, an original 1955 Chevy Bel Air and this was in the glove box the whole time, never used. Only removed from the package for these pictures.
The paper bag outside is very worn and tattered, one side is split. The woven tool bag is still in excellent condition except for one stap button, as seen in the pics. The tools themselves are flawless and unused, also as seen in the pics.
