Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and developing new
business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding the market
trends, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve business growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and
competitive landscape within the oil and gas industry. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to
understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. - Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, including identifying
new markets and opportunities for expansion. - Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting the company’s capabilities and
value propositions. - Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze results, and adjust strategies as
necessary to meet objectives. - Work closely with internal teams such as , operations to ensure alignment on
business development initiatives. - Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and
build a professional network.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2.2 Bachelors
- Professional certification (required)
- 1-2 years post qualification experience in similar organisation
